Our Story... Meals on Wheels North Jersey (originally Pascack Valley Meals on Wheels) was founded in June 1972. We started with six clients and some seed money from the Montvale Rotary Club. Volunteers were hard to find; it seemed like nobody had heard of a program like this! Today we have hundreds of volunteers on sixteen routes delivering meals in 30 towns throughout Bergen County. The large majority of our funding comes from private donations and client payments.
